What's included

The whole finance function, handled

Six pieces, one monthly fee, zero gaps between them.

1

Monthly Bookkeeping

Every transaction categorised, every bank and card account reconciled, receivables and payables tracked to the dirham. You see where the money went, every single month. This is the same discipline behind our bookkeeping service, and it is the base everything else stands on.

2

VAT Compliance

5% VAT workings, quarterly returns filed through EmaraTax, input VAT reconciled against purchase invoices, and Tax Invoices checked against FTA format rules. Wrong TRN details and missing invoice fields get caught by us before the FTA ever sees them. See VAT services.

3

Corporate Tax

Registration through EmaraTax, 9% workings with proper adjustments, small business relief eligibility checked, and return schedules you never have to think about. When the workings are done monthly, filing season feels like nothing at all. See corporate tax.

4

Payroll Journals

Salary journals, WPS records and gratuity accruals posted into the ledger every month, so payroll and books never disagree. We coordinate with whoever runs your payroll, or run it ourselves through our payroll services.

5

Management Reports

P&L, balance sheet and cash position in plain language, plus the Founder Finance Brief: one page with the numbers that actually matter. Built for owners making decisions, not for accountants filing folders.

6

Audit Support

A year-end file your auditor will actually enjoy: every balance backed by a document, every adjustment explained. Free zone audit requirements and mainland reviews, handled without the annual scramble.

How it works

Live in weeks, not months

A clear path from first call to fully handled accounting.

1

Free Finance Review

We look at your current books, VAT position and upcoming deadlines, then tell you honestly what needs fixing and what it will cost. The review is free and the quote is fixed.

2

Cleanup & Setup

Opening balances verified, chart of accounts configured for UAE VAT and corporate tax, and your Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Odoo set up properly. Messy history gets cleaned month by month.

3

Monthly Rhythm

Transactions coded, accounts reconciled and reports issued on a fixed calendar. You approve one summary each month. That is your entire accounting workload.

4

Compliance on Autopilot

VAT returns, corporate tax workings and payroll journals land before deadlines, not after. The FTA never has a reason to write to you.

Outsource vs in-house

An in-house accountant costs more than the salary.

Hiring looks straightforward until you price it properly. A capable accountant in Dubai costs AED 10,000 to 15,000 a month before visa, medical insurance, annual leave cover and end-of-service accrual. Then you discover one person cannot cover everything: VAT filings, corporate tax workings, payroll and management reporting are different skills, and deadlines do not pause for sick leave.

Outsourcing hands the whole function to a team for less than one salary. Your books close on the same day every month, VAT and corporate tax stay compliant, and when someone resigns or goes on leave, your deadlines do not notice. There is a quieter benefit too: clean monthly books make every downstream task cheaper, from audits to bank facility applications.

  • The real cost of in-house: salary plus visa, insurance and gratuity accrual puts a decent Dubai accountant well above AED 12,000 a month all-in. Our plans start far lower and cover a whole team.
  • No single point of failure: resignations and annual leave do not stop your VAT return when a team runs the function.
  • Deadlines stop being scary: returns and workings are prepared on a fixed calendar, weeks before they are due.
  • Everything reconciles: payroll, VAT and corporate tax all draw from the same ledger, so nothing contradicts anything else.

Accounting FAQs

Questions about accounting in Dubai

How much do accounting services cost in Dubai?

We charge one fixed monthly fee, set by your transaction volume and how much cleanup your books need. Small Dubai businesses usually land in the low hundreds of dirhams a month; busier trading companies with inventory and multiple bank accounts pay more. You get the exact number in writing after the free finance review, before we start. No hourly billing, no surprise invoices at year end.

What is included in monthly accounting services?

Everything your finance function needs each month: bookkeeping and bank reconciliations, receivables and payables tracking, VAT workings and quarterly returns, corporate tax workings, payroll journals and gratuity accruals, plus a management report pack with P&L, balance sheet and cash position. You also get the Founder Finance Brief, a one-page summary of the numbers that actually matter. If it touches your money, it is in the package.

Do you work with free zone companies in Dubai?

Yes, most of our Dubai clients sit in free zones: DMCC, DIFC, JAFZA, Dubai South, DAFZA and others. Each zone has its own quirks, from DIFC employment rules to free zone audit requirements, and our process accounts for them. Mainland DED-licensed companies are covered too. If you are unsure which rules apply to your licence, bring it to the free consultation and we will map it out.

Can you take over messy books or switch us from another accountant?

That is about half of what we do. We run catch-up bookkeeping month by month: opening balances get verified, miscoded VAT gets corrected, unreconciled bank lines get matched to real invoices. Most cleanups finish within a few weeks, and your current accountant hands over whatever exists. You do not need to wait for a clean slate to start. The cleanup is the start.

Which accounting software do you use?

We work in Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks and Odoo, and we will meet you where you are. No system yet? We set one up, configure the UAE VAT and corporate tax settings, and hand you the logins: your data stays yours. Our accounting software page explains how we pick the right one for your size.

How quickly can we start?

Most Dubai clients are live within two weeks of the first call: review, quote, cleanup plan, then the monthly rhythm begins. If a VAT or corporate tax deadline is breathing down your neck, say so on the first call and we prioritise the urgent filing first, cleanup second. Deadlines do not wait, and neither do we.
