Monthly Bookkeeping
Every transaction recorded and reconciled in Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Odoo: bank, credit card and cash, with receipts captured the day they happen. Your books close by the 10th of each month, not the 10th of next quarter.
Monthly accounting, done for you
Running a small business in Dubai leaves little room for month-end admin, yet the books still have to be right: VAT filed on time, corporate tax registered and returned, payroll through WPS, and numbers you can actually read. Our accounting services for small business in Dubai take that whole routine off your plate. One team handles your bookkeeping, VAT workings and filing, corporate tax, payroll and monthly reports, for one fixed monthly fee with no hourly billing. Most clients spend under an hour a month on finance, and their records are always ready for the bank, the FTA or an investor.
What is included
The full monthly finance routine for a Dubai SME, not just data entry.
Every transaction recorded and reconciled in Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Odoo: bank, credit card and cash, with receipts captured the day they happen. Your books close by the 10th of each month, not the 10th of next quarter.
We prepare the workings, reconcile them to your books and file the return, then keep FTA-ready records for 7 years. Registration, voluntary registration and deregistration handled when the time comes.
Registration, annual return and Small Business Relief checks, with 9% workings your auditor can trace. Even zero-revenue years get filed: the FTA still expects a return.
Monthly payroll, WPS salary files, leave and gratuity accruals, and payslips your team can read. One less spreadsheet, one less deadline to miss.
A monthly P&L, balance sheet and cash snapshot in plain language, plus our Founder Finance Brief: what changed, what it means, what to do next.
Behind on the books? We reconstruct backlogs and set up your chart of accounts properly, so month one starts clean instead of starting sorry.
How the month runs
Most of our SME clients look the same on day one: the founder doing invoices between meetings, a spreadsheet that made sense in January, and a growing sense that something is off. Nothing is broken yet, which is exactly why it is the right time to fix it.
Outsourced accounting works because the maths works. An in-house accountant in Dubai typically costs AED 8,000 to 15,000 a month before visa, insurance and benefits. A monthly service gives you the bookkeeping, the VAT filings, the payroll and the reporting for a fraction of that, with no hiring risk and no single point of failure when someone resigns.
What changes day to day: almost nothing, and that is the point. You forward invoices and receipts (a photo on WhatsApp is fine), approve the payroll summary we send, and join a short monthly review where we walk through your numbers. The discipline, the deadlines and the detail sit with us.
New to this? Read our small business accounting guide first: it walks through year one in plain language, including the honest DIY path.
Compliance, covered
Two registrations cause most of the anxiety we see, so here is the plain version. VAT becomes mandatory within 20 business days of crossing AED 375,000 in taxable supplies over the previous 12 months. You can register voluntarily from AED 187,500, which lets you recover VAT on setup costs. Returns are usually filed quarterly. We track your rolling 12-month revenue, so registration never arrives as a surprise.
Corporate tax applies at 9% on profits above AED 375,000, and every taxable person must register and file an annual return, even in a zero-revenue year. Small Business Relief can reduce the bill to zero for eligible businesses, but it still requires registration and filing: relief is not an exemption from paperwork.
Miss the deadlines and the penalties are real: late registration alone can draw an AED 10,000 fine. Our job is making sure that never happens to you. Our VAT services and corporate tax teams handle the filings; you just see the confirmations.
Pricing
Monthly accounting for a Dubai SME typically runs from AED 2,000 a month on our plans, scaled to your transaction volume, staff count and entities. The honest drivers of price are how many transactions you have, whether payroll is included, and how far behind the books are when we start.
How it works
From first call to first clean month-end.
Thirty minutes on your numbers: where the books stand, what is missing, what it will cost to fix.
We reconcile the backlog, set up your software and chart of accounts, and register anything outstanding.
Books close by the 10th, VAT and payroll run on schedule, receipts captured as they happen.
A short monthly call on your numbers, and a direct line on WhatsApp between calls.

Bookkeeping and reconciliations, VAT workings and filing, corporate tax registration and annual return, WPS payroll, and monthly management reports in plain language. Software setup and backlog cleanup are included at onboarding. It is the full monthly finance routine, not just data entry.
Honestly, maybe not yet. If you have no staff, are not VAT-registered and run under roughly 50 transactions a month, clean DIY bookkeeping plus an annual review can be enough. We will tell you that on the discovery call rather than sell you a plan you do not need. Our small business guide covers the DIY path too.
Yes, backlog reconstruction is one of our most common first projects. We rebuild the year from bank statements, invoices and receipts, reconcile everything and bring the books current, then move you onto the monthly rhythm. It costs more than starting clean, which is why we recommend not waiting.
Yes. We work in Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books and Odoo every day, and we can migrate you between them if your current setup is fighting you. Our accounting software team handles setup, chart of accounts and integrations.
